About

Growing up in West Texas has shaped who I am today. The smalltown environment taught me the value of hard work, resilience, and looking out for the people you love. Life has not always been easy, but the experiences I have faced have helped me become stronger and more determined to build a better future.

One of the biggest challenges I live with is having Type 1 diabetes. Managing this condition requires daily attention, discipline, and patience. There are constant responsibilities like monitoring blood sugar levels, taking insulin, and making careful decisions about food and activity. Even though it can sometimes feel overwhelming, living with diabetes has taught me how to stay focused on my health and never take my well-being for granted. It has also shown me how important it is to stay positive and keep moving forward.

Another important part of my life is being a single mom. My son is my greatest motivation and the reason I continue pushing myself to grow and improve. Raising a child on your own comes with many responsibilities, but it is also one of the most rewarding roles I could ever have. Every decision I make is centered around creating stability, love, and opportunity for him. I want him to grow up knowing that no matter how difficult life may seem, perseverance and determination can help overcome almost anything.

Education has become a major step in my journey toward creating a better life. By continuing my studies, I am working toward building a stable career and setting an example for my son about the importance of learning and self-improvement. I want him to see that challenges should not stop someone from chasing their goals. Instead, obstacles can become motivation to work harder and believe in yourself.

My life story is still being written, but I know that my experiences have given me strength and purpose. Being from West Texas, living with Type 1 diabetes, and raising my son on my own have all helped shape the person I am today. These parts of my life remind me every day why it is important to keep striving for a better future. I want my son to see that no matter where you start in life, with determination, faith in yourself, and a strong work ethic, it is possible to create the life you dream about.
