Goals and interests
- Career goal
I intend to pursue a career in athletic training through the study of exercise science or kinesiology, with the goal of becoming a certified athletic trainer. My career path is centered on supporting athletes holistically by promoting injury prevention, physical recovery, and mental well-being. I am particularly interested in working with student-athletes and underrepresented populations, where I can help create inclusive, affirming, and safe environments in sports while advocating for equity, health education, and long-term athletic success.
- Graduate school interests
I plan to pursue graduate studies in athletic training, exercise science, or kinesiology to gain advanced clinical training and research-based knowledge in sports performance, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. I am particularly interested in programs that emphasize hands-on clinical experience, evidence-based practice, and athlete-centered care. Through graduate study, I hope to deepen my expertise while developing the skills needed to serve diverse athletic populations and advance equity and wellness in sports medicine.
- Outside the classroom
My hobbies reflect my commitment to balance, creativity, and service. Volleyball plays a central role in my life, teaching me discipline, teamwork, and leadership while supporting my physical and mental wellness. I am deeply interested in health and well-being, particularly in how movement, recovery, and mindfulness contribute to long-term success. I enjoy building with Legos and exploring creative design as outlets for problem-solving, innovation, and attention to detail. Alongside these interests, I value service and giving back to my community, using my time and talents to support others and make a meaningful impact.
