I am pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing as well as a concurrent degree in Environment & Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming. Prior to attending graduate school, I spent five years in Washington, DC serving as a Communications Manager for a commercial real estate company.

- Career goal
I am passionate conservation work and protecting outdoor spaces for outdoor recreation, wildlife, and environmental health because these spaces have inspired me in both my personal and professional life. I intend to advance conservation work by inspiring action through effective communication and brand development.

- Outside the classroom
Thru-hiking: I hiked the 2,193-mile Appalachian Trail in 2021; I hike a 550-mile section of the Pacific Crest Trail in 2024; I hiked the 103-mile Tour du Mont Blanc in 2025.
Running: I ran the Boston Marathon in 2025 and am training for the Chicago Marathon this fall!
