About
Master in Public Policy at Vanderbilt University, Peabody College.
Former AmeriCorps Member, Kentucky College Coaches Program. Earned a B.A. in Anthropology, with a minor in Arab and Islamic Studies from the University of Kentucky.
Research interests include rural education, cultural dynamics in education, ESL programming, education for the incarcerated, and higher education policy. The Kentucky College Coaches program inspired additional research interests in improving college access policies for other underserved communities (main experience with first generation, DACA, and refugee students).
