Goals and interests
- Career goal
My personal, educational and professional choices have evolved within the context of German art history. I am seeking an opportunity as an art history major to eventually open a multipurpose space based in Berlin. This multipurpose space will explore how a business successfully balances elements of design, curatorial and analytical tools. Understanding that culture can surface at a variety of visual and meaningful levels, in seemingly disjoint contexts, my space will represent various works from German as well as international artists who merge visual arts with fashion. Additionally, I am enthusiastic about the prospect of working in a contemporary Berlin-based space in which showcases carefully curated visuals with an emphasis on fashion as well as up and coming designers.
- Graduate school interests
I have researched liberal arts universities extensively throughout the United States and Europe (specifically Germany), with the aim of pursuing a Masters in British Studies at the Humboldt University of Berlin. My personal, educational and professional choices have evolved within the context of art history. An opportunity at the Humboldt University of Berlin will support me to continue my studies and realize my goals.
