About

My name is Faith Webb, and I am a Junior at Moody Bible Institute. With a grade point average of 3.6. I am pursuing a career in international relations working with nonprofits and NGOs. My faith-based education at Moody is not only training me to achieve my goal of becoming someone who impacts the lives of individuals living in war-torn and impoverished countries but also gives me a purpose and motivation for my desire to change myself and the world I live in for the better. I am honored to be a member of the Honor Society as it allows me to be surrounded by likeminded people who pursue academic excellence, integrity and a constant drive for progress.

As someone who enjoys a broad range of hobbies, some of my favorites are:
Art- I enjoy creativity. I create digital artworks including Graphic design, digital narratives, Photography, videography. I also enjoy textile art, like crocheting and knitting.
Writing- I enjoy writing and storytelling. I write poems and as a journaler, I enjoy jotting down my thoughts about the world, myself and the interesting experiences in life
Reading-much of who I am today is due to my avid reading. I love reading fiction, nonfiction, biographies and religious texts.
Nature-Nature is my escape from the chaotic world. I enjoy plants, flowers and painting landscapes. I collect plants and enjoy taking care of them.

Volunteering

  • Catherine McAuley Center-Cedar rapids Iowa Refugee Education Tutor Volunteering as an English tutor at Catherine McAuley taught me valuable skills about teaching and I learned a lot about the lives of refugees and immigrants from around the world. I met weekly with a woman from Togo to study the American citizenship exam. I also met weekly with a man from Haiti to teach elementary English. Both my students were a joy to teach and share life with.
