Faith White

I am a recently-graduated high school senior with aspirations to become a costume designer. I have enjoyed fashion ever since I was a child. I would practice sewing by creating clothes for my dolls. In middle school, I participated in theater and liked the costumes my director made for my fellow classmates. I also enjoyed learning dances for musicals and learning better acting skills. With these two interests, I decided that mixing fashion and entertainment is a good choice for me. Now, I am learning more about fashion history for my own learning purposes. I also want to get better at sewing this summer, so I can be more efficient in sewing during college.

During high school, I started doing some community service, which I enjoy. I want to continue serving people because I like using the resources I have to help someone else. I plan to stay connected to organizations that provide community service during and after college. Hopefully, I can combine my passions with service.

For financial reasons, I am going to Motlow State Community College for two years. After I graduate, I want to transfer to Middle Tennessee State University and go into their fashion design program. After college, I hope to work at local theaters and work at a streaming service organization like Disney+ and Netflix.
