Favor Winner

My Name is Favor Winner and throughout my life journey. I have found myself wanting to help others with their medical needs. I have worked in the medical field for years doing medical administrative work. While working I learned just how difficult it can be for patients to receive proper medical care. There are so many hoops they have to jump through just to get the medication they need let alone see a doctor. Working within the field inspired me to continue my education to become a PA and be on the clinical side of helping others.

Becoming a Physician Assistant will allow me to take what I have learned about healthcare administration and use it to help others on a clinical level. There is nothing more rewarding to me than being able to help others. I plan on taking my background in medical sciences and helping others. I will be able to educate my patients and help them better understand their diagnosis. Receiving this scholarship would allow me to focus on my studies to become a PA and better the community I will be working in.

I will be able to provide top-notch care to my patients as well as help other providers when they need backup. Patient advocacy has always been something that I have wanted to pursue. Assisting others and providing them with the care they need while treating them with dignity will be my focus when I become a PA.
