About
I am an experienced law enforcement officer. It was during the performance of my duties that I discovered a passion for teaching young students. After teaching young students for many years about crimes and the behavior that develops a criminal record, I have seen and experienced the tremendous power that teachers have in the classroom. No other profession, not even my current profession, has that kind of power. I want to obtain a teaching license because I want to make a difference in the lives of young people and their families. I want to make a difference in my students’ lives by making teaching multicultural, using 21st century technology, and empower them to change the world for the better.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
Teach Elementary and Middle School level students - I will promote diversity and equity in my classroom by setting the norms of inclusion and openness. I will foster an atmosphere of being respectful of each other, the sharing of ideas, opinions, and values. I will teach my students to disagree respectfully. I will make sure that I become a better Teacher every single day and keep up with cutting edge developments in the field of teaching. I have learned that I have the power to positively influence the minds and hearts of future generations, communities, families, and the world.

I plan to continue my education and seek the prestigious National Board Certification.
- Outside the classroom
I love to read books. I enjoy studying for my Bachelor's Degree in Education at Central State University. I like playing sports with my young daughter, Helen, she enjoys playing soccer and basketball. I also like working out my body through exercise to stay strong and healthy. I love watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
