Goals and interests

Career goal

Art has always been a passion of mine. In school I would live for my art classes and thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of my art teachers, but my high school art teacher had a major influence in my decision of one day becoming an art teacher myself. I would absolutely love to teach any level, but I would truly love to become a high school art teacher much like my own, so I too can help students with a passion for art pursue their dreams and goals without fear.

Graduate school interests

I would like to someday complete grad school, but for now I would like to graduate from Winona State University and find a career near home, if possible.

Outside the classroom

Aside from school and working at a local school-aged childcare program, I enjoy drawing, painting, volunteering at programs such as Kids First, spending time with my family and friends and watching or participating in sports.
