About
My name is Gabrielle Kunar and I hold a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Lindenwood University. I have been working with children for about 12 years, mostly at individualized math and reading programs, but also for a short time as a 4th grade teacher. While I loved teaching general education subjects, my long time interest in psychology shone through and I became more concerned about my students' mental health and well-being. This motivated me to return to Lindenwood to pursue a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am highly enjoying this program and I am looking forward to helping people of all ages discover the roots of their hardships and reach their full potential in the healthiest ways possible that work for them. Eventually, I plan to pursue a doctorate, in the counseling field, but I have not yet decided which emphasis, although I have an interest in trauma.
