Gabrielle Russell

My name is Gabrielle Russell, I am a high school senior at Lankenau Environmental High School. I grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I am an honor roll student, and I have participated in school clubs including the anime club. My favorite subject in school is Art and I love to create new things through my artwork. Outside of school, I have done dance for 8+ years. I currently take karate classes, I am a level 2 brown belt working towards my black belt. One thing about me is I love helping others and giving back to the community. Since I was young up until now I have had the opportunity to be a part of the Young Peoples Division (YPD) at my church. I am currently the vice president of this organization at my church. Throughout my years of being a part of the YPD, I have been able to participate in many community service activities including giving toys to kids in need during Christmas time, making pillows for the members of our church in nursing homes, and delivering the pillows to them. I also had the opportunity to serve dinner to the homeless and give back to the community. I am dedicated, determined, hardworking and I love problem-solving.
