Gabrielle Simmons

I am a Collegiate Academy student at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC) and will be a senior at Gulfport High School. At MGCCC I am in Phi Theta Kappa and the secretary for the Concurrent Enrollment Leadership Organization. The first semester I received Vice President's list because I had a 3.81 GPA. The second semester I received President's list because I had a 4.0 GPA. My overall GPA is a 3.90. At high school, in my ninth and tenth grade year, I was in Beta Club. Last year and this coming up year I am in National Honor Society. I am also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Also, I received honor roll at the high school. One thing I have done to prepare me for my profession of being a dentist, is that I have job shadowed some dentists along the Gulf Coast. Some of my personal achievements is that I was and still am the captain of the high school cross country team. I am also the captain of my select soccer team. In cross country, I made the all-south region team and broke my Personal Record. In track, I was the district champion for the 3200-meter run and broke my personal record there too.
