Garrett Wineberg

My name is Garrett Wineberg and I am a Registered Nurse working at the Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital within the Surgical Department! I hope you can see why I would be a wonderful candidate for your scholarship and would love to honor and represent your purpose for your scholarship.

As far as I can remember, I have always wanted to make people smile or help them in some way. People who know me assume it will be within music. Music is a passion of mine, but so is finding my way in the medical field. Yes, I am always the guy singing in the hall or the guy who sees someone crying because they got in trouble and/or their heart was just broken and I stop what I’m doing to ask “Are you ok?”, “Can I do anything?”, and “Do I know the person?”
Some yes and some no but it doesn’t matter, what matters to me is that they are ok and if I am capable of
helping in any way and if I can make them feel cared for and safe, if so then I will.

Also, Yes, I love music and for me, it’s a stress reliever, I’m not the teenager who drank or rebelled when things go wrong, I would sing to make me feel better. Maybe one day, actually I know that someday, I’ll figure out a way to connect my two passions. I wish I had more room to write here, but I hope this bio helped you get a perspective on who I am and what I am about. So this ambitious,
compassionate, empathetic, fun-loving-driven guy wishes you to allow him to honor your scholarship and
