About
My name is Gavin Grosswald and I am a freshman at the University of Georgia. UGA has always been my dream school and I am more than thrilled to finally being able to call myself a Dawg. I was born in Alpharetta, Georgia but moved to North Carolina when I was five years old. I attended Summit School which goes until 9th grade and then I moved over to Forsyth Country Day School to finish out high school. Throughout this, I played soccer and basketball both for my school and for travel teams as well. During the summers and over holidays, I love to travel. I have been all over the world and the experiences I have had make up a huge part of me as a person.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
Get my degree in public health while completing all the pre-requisites to apply to med school. Ultimate goal is to become a doctor.
- Graduate school interests
Undecided as to what I want in a Grad School
- Outside the classroom
I have always been a big sports person. I have played soccer and basketball my whole life and I love to hit the slopes in the winter time. At school I participate in intramural sports, both with my fraternity and also with other friends I have made. I also like to spend my time volunteering for local organizations. This semester, I will be volunteering in one of the hospitals near campus for three hours a week. In addition to all of this, I really enjoy to travel and become well versed in other nations cultures. I have been all around the world and my ability to travel and see new, amazing places is something I will always cherish.
