About
My name is GAYATRI MYLARAPU BAGEPALLI and I am from India. Currently, I am pursuing my bachelor's degree in computer science from Georgia State University. I am an enthusiastic and motivated young professional with a passion for personal growth and a commitment to achieving both academic and career success. As an 18-year-old, I am eager to embark on a journey of professional development, seeking opportunities to contribute my talents, learn from diverse experiences, and make a positive impact on the world.
My first interaction with the programming domain happened during a Coding Workshop in my school days and fascinated me. I started learning some basic languages such as C and C++ and made several rudimentary applications. There was something about computers that always caught my attention, and on the other hand, I used to think about how people communicate wirelessly with each other. This growing interest made me opt for the Computer Science subject for my senior secondary education. Owing to the knowledge I have gained in the realm throughout academia, I identified that pursuing a higher degree in computer science is the ideal way forward to achieve my vocational objectives and develop myself into a top-notch programmer.
Apart from academics, I have invested in my holistic development by participating in social service programs. This not only enhanced my organizational abilities but also gave me the desire to work for societal improvement. This became critical to my career ambitions. Moreover, the satisfaction I got from solving a real-life problem cannot be expressed in words. Further, my participation in quiz competitions, sports events, and other cultural activities has enhanced my competitive spirit and out-of-the-box thinking, which I believe helps me thrive in this highly competitive tech domain. Besides, these activities have immensely contributed to my organizational and leadership skills. This has instilled in me the confidence to initiate and lead. I look forward to utilizing it in my future academic and career pursuits, as well.
Having earned a solid foundation in the computer science domain, with a deep-seated knowledge of computing and programming, I am looking to build my knowledge stack further with an advanced degree in the same. This would equip me with a broad spectrum of knowledge from creating programs to applying them in the business world. Confident that I can grasp the core competencies of the course, I am excited to explore the subjects in the program. I wish to accumulate advanced domain-related knowledge with a comprehensive understanding of the disciplines viz. Arduino, ASP.NET, C#, PHP, Swift, and a few web development languages such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Further, I aim to complete a Master’s degree. Undoubtedly, by gaining a deep understanding of this vast domain covering its entire length and breadth, I would have a competitive edge over my peers. This would elevate my professional value in the employment market Hence, I am assured of getting employed by IT giants like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, etc., on completion of this course that covers my areas of interest. In the long run, I envision securing a place in the industry by developing an OTT platform or shopping website.
Computer science is still perceived as a subjective module in most Indian colleges and the curriculum is not updated with sector growth. Besides, the applied scope of learning is also missing in India; especially in terms of lab activities and industry partnerships which deadens the possibility of hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies.

There is one place that I love to visit more than any other in the world, Prasanthi Nilayam in Puttaparthi. This is the place where Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is revered as the Divine, one of the abodes of supreme peace. This place was a small village not too long ago. Although it was once a small village, today it has gained international fame as a spiritual centre of international renown because of its impressive spirituality and quality of life. Grandmother and I, as a family, visit Prasanthi Nilayam (The Abode of Supreme Peace) on a regular basis, and we extend our services to devotees coming from far-away places all the way from overseas who visit this ashram in order to experience the bliss of transcendence. Consequently, it is possible to serve more than 10000 guests on a daily basis. Every devotee uses these vessels on a daily basis to get his food.

I was born and raised in Visakhapatnam, a city in the south of the state of Andhra Pradesh, which is where I was born. There are a variety of scenic beaches to be found in Visakhapatnam, which boasts one of the largest coastal areas in the world with a length of 32 kilometres. This attracts a vast number of tourists every year. People use beaches as a source of income, relaxation, and entertainment for a variety of reasons. Located near the Indian Naval Dockyard headquarters, one of the most famous beaches in Visakhapatnam, Ramakrishna Beach, is one of the most famous beaches in Visakhapatnam. When I was in seventh grade, the Naval Team and the State Government gave me the opportunity to participate in beach clean-up activities that were conducted by the Naval Team and the State Government on a regular basis. I became a member of the voluntary team during that time, and since then, I have actively participated in preventing waste from entering the ocean and raising community awareness about marine debris through garbage-pickup events that have been taking place in the area. It is also possible to use the data we collect on the trash we collect to formulate long-term solutions and make informed decisions in the future by recording the waste we collect. It is one of the most effective and efficient ways to reduce pollution on beaches and to protect marine life as well. As a result of the event, we decided to organize a beach clean-up of our own. A group of my father's friends and a group of friends of mine organized a couple of Sunday events to protect the coastline which is prone to damage from high winds and waves caused by powerful storms, and I was inspired by my parents to create my own beach clean-up team. All of these benefits can only be enjoyed if our beaches are safe, clean, and well-maintained so that all of these benefits can be realized. Taking part in beach clean-ups can offer many benefits, such as providing the opportunity to do a large-scale rehabilitation of our beaches, which can be a very effective way to tidy up our beaches. It's all about cleaning - awareness - tourism - safety - hygiene - infrastructure - innovation - everyone helps.

Since 2015, I have attended religious services conducted by ISCKON . ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) is a religious organization that follows the teachings of the ancient Indian scripture, the Bhagavad Gita. ISKCON organizes summer camps for children and youth that are aimed at promoting spiritual growth and character development. The ISKCON summer camp is designed to provide participants with an immersive experience of the spiritual teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, as well as an opportunity to engage in devotional practices such as chanting and worship. The camp usually runs for a period of one to two weeks, and participants are housed in dormitories or tents, depending on the camp's location. The ISKCON summer camp offers a range of activities, including classes on the Bhagavad Gita, meditation, kirtan (chanting), arts and crafts, outdoor sports, and community service. The camp also provides vegetarian meals and snacks that are prepared following the principles of Bhakti Yoga, which emphasizes purity and non-violence. The goal of the ISKCON summer camp is to foster an understanding and appreciation of the Vedic culture and lifestyle, as well as to inspire participants to lead a life of spiritual growth and service. The camp provides a supportive environment where participants can learn, share, and grow together. Overall, the ISKCON summer camp is a unique opportunity for children and youth to explore the spiritual teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, and to connect with like-minded individuals who share similar values and goals.
