Volunteering
-
My school gives a warm welcome to incoming high school students. Through an advisor students are assigned groups of freshman students to perform a tour of the high school this is warrior crew. I was a student who showed responsibility and was chose specifically by the advisor to lead a large group of freshmen around the school. This offers incoming 9th graders face to face communication and confirmation through experienced people like myself. Through organization and planning I maintained a welcoming and happy group environment.

Improve teens emotional well-being, gives valuable tools to feel safe, seen, and emotionally connected. Helps teen community be connected and improve individual and peers lives through understanding others. Committed, senior mentor, I helped peers and myself stay engaged. assisted in bringing new teens from the community and contributed to my peers path of growth. Learned the value of listening to peers and taking initiative and respecting their goals while getting to know them through hands on and outside activities where we can be in community.
