About
My name is Giavanna Alimenti and I am currently a senior attending the American School of Yaounde in Yaounde, Cameroon. I moved here for my senior year due to my parents jobs from Buena, New Jersey, where I attended Buena Regional High School for 9th-11th grade. In Addition, have also been taking dual enrollment classes virtually through Rowan College of South Jersey since my freshman year. In May, I will graduate with not only my High School Diploma, but also my Associates degree in Liberal Arts.
My move overseas caused me to switch from traditional American curriculum to the international curriculum which is the International Bachelorette Program. Since the IB program is two years long and I moved my senior year, I unfortunately am not able to graduate with the IB Diploma, however I am still taking the same rigorous classes my senior year just as a normal IB student would.
I am currently committed to NC State university and cannot wait to pursue a degree in Criminology/Sociology!
