Ginger Otipoby

I am currently a Global History student at American Public University, studying online to obtain a Bachelor's degree. I am studying to become an Archivist as well as to become a certified Genealogist. My goal of becoming an Archivist stems from my passion to preserve, organize, and provides access to records and archives determined to have long-term value. I grew up learning about my Native American and Scottish roots which sparked my interest in my own genealogy. However, my love of research has expanded my passion for history and the lives of those, both famous and unknown, within the world's history. Even though I have only been able to trace my own genealogy, which I was able to trace it back to the era of Mary Queen of Scots after returning to Scotland, I am excited and extremely motivated for the adventures of learning and helping others learn of their own genealogy.
