About

Summary of Current Academic Program and Achievements

I am currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Southern New Hampshire University. I am 54 years old and very proud to continue my education. As a first-generation student, earning my MBA is a major personal and professional achievement.

This journey takes a lot of effort and commitment. Balancing my studies with work and family life is not always easy, but I believe education is one of the most important investments we can make. I want to show my 12-year-old daughter that learning never stops, and that with dedication, anything is possible at any age.

I am also very thankful for the support of my husband, who encourages me every step of the way. I currently work as an academic advisor at a community college, a job I truly love. Helping students find their paths and guiding them toward their goals gives me great joy. It motivates me even more to grow and continue learning by myself.

In my MBA program, I am learning about leadership, business strategy, finance, and decision-making. These skills are helping me grow both personally and professionally and preparing me for future opportunities where I can make a greater impact.

I am proud of how far I have come, and I look forward to what’s ahead - not only for myself, but as an example for my daughter and the many students I support every day.
