About

I am a graduate student enrolled at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University where I am pursuing a Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Management. I formerly attended Stanford University where I was involved in Student Government and Athletics and was later inducted into the Stanford University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2014. I enjoyed a career in professional sports as a player (1993-2002) and later became an executive in the Arena Football League (2003-2008) before embarking on a career in Governmental Relations. I currently serve as the Director of Government Affairs for Ygrene Energy Fund, where I serve as a primary legislative head for the company in California and drive policy initiatives to advance energy efficiency programs in the state. In addition to my primary work at Ygrene, I have been helped start several startup companies and also serve as a Board member of The Matthew Foundation, Partners for Potential, and Goedecker's, a public traded leading online appliance retailer. I have a desire to help use my graduate studies to help me contribute more broadly to better business practices and to develop a mentoring pipeline that will promote a more equitable and diverse executive environment.
