My name is Godson and I am a respiratory care student at Bowling Green State University. I have over 10 years of work experience in the healthcare profession in various roles and I am excited to be back in school.
I recognize the importance of respiratory therapists in patient care and aspire to gain clinical skills and training in the management of complex respiratory conditions.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I plan to work as a registered respiratory therapist in an intensive care unit after graduating from my respiratory care program and obtaining my license. After gaining work experience in the respiratory care profession, I aspire to become an academic instructor in a respiratory care program, where I can teach and provide mentorship to students interested in pursuing a career in respiratory care. As a registered respiratory therapist, I will advocate for the respiratory care profession through legislative engagement, promoting public awareness on the importance of respiratory therapists, and seeking to expand the scope of practice of respiratory therapists.
- Graduate school interests
I would like to get a Master of Science degree in anesthesia, which would allow me to practice as a certified anesthesiology assistant.
