About

Throughout my high school career, I have taken a mix of Pre-AP Honors classes, Dual Credit classes, and advanced high school classes. I have earned over 20 dual credit hours over the last couple of years, and I believe that these courses have truly prepared me for college level classes. I have always striven to work hard, and I believe that my grades reflect the hard work that I put into every class and assignment.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I have always desired to help those in my community. In November of 2020, my grandmother was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. Once she received this diagnosis, she moved into our home and I have been responsible for taking care of her daily needs. Through providing care to my grandmother over the past couple of months, I have seen how much I love helping those who are sick or unable to fully care for themselves. As a registered nurse, I believe that I can provide educated and caring assistance to those in need.

Graduate school interests

If I receive scholarships due to my academic excellence, I would greatly desire to continue my education after I receive my bachelors degree and become a nurse practitioner.

Outside the classroom

I have always enjoyed participating in different activities. First, I love playing sports. I played for the Texas Tornadoes Volleyball Club for three years. I also swam with the FLEET swim team for two years. Second, I have always had a passion for music. I have played piano for ten years and have also established my own private music studio. I have also played viola for 4 years and have played in many different orchestras including the Instruments of Praise Orchestra. Third, I take great interest in bettering myself. Therefore, I am very interested in health and fitness. In accordance with my interest in health, I love to cook new recipes, especially food that is wholesome and natural. Fourth, I love photography and modeling and have modeled for several of my friends who are interested in photography and movie producing.
