About
Hello everyone. My name is Gricelda Hernandez. I am a current 2nd year MSW student at CSUN. I am the youngest of four siblings and the first to go to college and obtain a Bachelor's degree. I am currently about to finish my MSW program in May 2017 and it has been by far the most difficult task yet. I have three gorgeous nephews, 16, 14 and 9 years of age. They are my everything. I want to continue being their role model teaching them that there is no goal you cannot reach, all you have to do is believe in yourself.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My job path is still unclear at the moment but I know that I want to work in either the mental health or medical field within the social work spectrum. Being a social worker has always been my calling and true passion in life. Helping others during their highest time of need is beyond fulfilling and rewarding. With that said, I hope to some day instill upon others the teaching of social work and help create true dedicated and passionate social workers.
- Outside the classroom
When ever I have the opportunity I love to sit down and enjoy a good book. I enjoy taking courses that increase my knowledge and skills to use in my profession or personal life. Love to build LEGO sets and play LEGO video games. I love to sleep in when I have the chance to and catch up on my favorite shows. I can also watch I Love Lucy the entire day, my favorite show of all time. Retail therapy is among my favorite things to do as well. Above all I like to spend my time watching all my three nephew's play their sports when the season comes up, baseball, basketball, soccer and football.
