About
My name is Hadassah Lewis, I am a sophomore at Valdosta State University. I got accepted to VSU Fall semester of my senior year. I made all A’s and 1B both my fall and spring semester of my first year of college. I was nominated for The National Society of Collegiate Scholars and National Society for Collegiate Leadership between my freshmen and sophomore year. I became a member of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Incorporated while maintaining a semester GPA of 3.8. I am currently the Vice President of Entity Operations, Community Service Chair, Morals and Ethics Chair, and Step and Stroll Chair for my sorority.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
When I graduate from Valdosta State University with my Nursing degree I want to work in a NICU at a hospital in Atlanta, GA with a level 4 NICU. I also want to work on the Labor and Delivery Floor. After a year of working in a NICU I want to go back to school to become a Certified Nurse Midwife. I then want to open a birthing center for women like myself who can’t go to normal birthing centers because they are high risk due to obesity, diabetes, etc.
- Graduate school interests
I would like to go to graduate school around the year 2025. The schools I am looking at to go to are Georgia College and State University and East Carolina University. I want to major in Midwifery and after graduating open my own birthing center.
