Goals and interests

Career goal

Though I am unsure of the area of medicine I will pursue, I have wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can recall. I have been able to job shadow an OB/GYN, as well as in our state's coroner's office. This has opened my eyes to just a few of the many avenues in medicine.

Those opportunities have served to fueled my interest. My main goal is to provide a service to make a difference in the lives and well being of others. I am certain that this is my destiny!

I know that I have many years ahead and it’s not going to be easy, yet I am stubborn and determined. I’ve made up my mind to succeed.

Graduate school interests

My first choice in medical schools would be the University of Louisville's Medical School. I enjoy the community and challenges I have found at U of L.

Outside the classroom

Soccer whenever I can. Reading constantly. Sketching to relax.
