About

I am currently an Agriculture Science student at California Polytechnic Sate University in San Luis Obispo, CA. I am studying to be a high school agriculture teacher. I grew up in the small town of Santa Margarita, CA where my parents run a diesel repair shop. I am an extremely outgoing person, diverse in my knowledge, and a leader. I have grown up showing and raising livestock. I joined 4-H at a young age and continued on into the FFA at the age of 13.
My family's love for livestock has been instilled in me from a young age. During my livestock career I showed sheep, goats, hogs, chickens, rabbits and cattle. I was also a member of the Atascadero Livestock Judging team. I now help lead two local 4-H clubs, because of my love for livestock and hope of bettering the agriculture industry. After high school I chose to attend Cal Poly, because of it's strong agriculture program. Since becoming a student in Spring of 2012 I have joined many clubs including Alpha Zeta, which is the professional scholarly agriculture fraternity on campus.I currently am serving as the chapter chronicler. I have judging many speaking contests including San Luis Obispo Sectional FFA Creed, Santa Barbra Sectional Opening and Closing, and South Coast Region Regional Speaking Contest. I strive to make a difference in the agriculture industry in any way that I can.
