About

I am currently earning my bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies with an ESL concentration at the University of Texas at San Antonio. From a young age, I always knew that I wanted to work with children and touch lives. At 18 years old I began working as an early childhood educator and now at 26 years old, I am a private kindergarten teacher at a private school in San Antonio. My time as an educator has taught me valuable lessons while working with young students and has given me the vital resources and knowledge to take with me in my future career goals. I have not only learned how to teach young students, but how to connect and build relationships. As well as, how to encourage students to enjoy and strive for success in their academic career. I intend on completing a graduate program to earn my master's degree in curriculum development and leadership. During my leisure time, you can find me hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, running, reading, at the gym, doing yoga, or spending time with my husband, two kids, and two dogs!
