About

Ever since I was little, I had an interest in agriculture. I originally thought I wanted to become a Veterinarian, but once I began taking Agriculture classes in high school I realized I was more interested in the agricultural side instead of the medical side. I also took a Biotechnology introductory course in high school and decided that was what I was looking for. I am currently attending the University of Nevada, Reno and majoring in the Biotechnology program which only allows about 20 students maximum to enroll in, also requiring a written form from an advisor. Within my first year of college, I interned in Dr. Cushman's lab which focused mainly on Biofuel production, allowing me to get a glimpse of what my future my hold in store for me.

Outside the classroom

In my free time I enjoy making crafts and creating art. Some of my favorite crafts include home decorations and "upcycling" clothes. My favorite media of art is airbrushes and acrylic, but I have also used oil paints, fiber, graphite, and charcoal. I also enjoy reading fantasy and adventure books if the time permits.
