About
I started Running Start junior year and have maintained strong grades while taking college level classes. I had a brief dip in credits due to unexpected family responsibilities, but I came back stronger, passing every class in spring, completing English 102 and retaking Calculus I over the summer, and now taking my most challenging schedule yet: UW Biology, Medical Anthropology, Calculus II, Chemistry 139, and American Government. I’m committed to finishing my AA before high school graduation, staying competitive for my biology prerequisites, and getting ahead on my path to becoming an orthodontist.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I want to become an orthodontist and help people feel confident about their smiles. After finishing school and getting the training I need, I plan to work in established offices to build my skills and learn the business side of things. One day, I hope to open my own practice, not just to straighten teeth, but to create a space where patients feel comfortable, cared for, and leave feeling good about themselves.
- Graduate school interests
I plan on majoring in Biology I’m interested in graduate school for dentistry with a focus on orthodontics because I love working with patients and helping improve their confidence through their smiles. I want a program that gives me real clinical experience, challenges me to grow, and prepares me to one day run my own practice.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy reading, swimming, writing, and playing the violin. I also love doing hair and makeup and am very skilled at it. I also like cooking, trying out new recipes, and spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking or just being in nature. I love diving into different culture, and am absolutely fond of animals; tigers, jaguars, dolphins, turtles etc.
Volunteering
-
I worked in a concession stand where I handled customer service, food preparation, and cash transactions. My role taught me how to multitask in a fast-paced environment, stay organized under pressure, and communicate clearly with both customers and team members. I also learned responsibility through handling money and making sure orders were accurate and delivered quickly.

I volunteered as a gift provider during the holiday season, helping staff organize and prepare donated toys to ensure they were safe and ready for patients. I walked through the hospital delivering gifts to children and families, helping bring joy during a stressful time. My role required responsibility, organization, and compassion while working directly with staff and families.
