About

I am a University of Michigan-Flint student studying Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology. My love of animals and science has lead me to strive toward a career in animal diagnostics. Since high school, I have volunteered in animal shelters and clinics. Growing up in a more rural area, and near farms lead me to become involved in riding and showing horses. So in addition to having a history in small animal care, I have gained experience with some large animals. It has taken some exploring, but I have found that I really enjoy working in a lab. I would love to be able to work in an animal/veterinary lab, where I could be involved in both the veterinary and laboratory community.
