Hannah Jenkins

I am a senior at the Colorado School of Mines, pursuing a degree in biochemistry with a strong passion for innovation and discovery.

Recently my academic journey has been enriched by hands-on research exploring genetic modifications of key enzymes in algae—a project that has deepened my understanding of biotechnology and its potential for sustainable solutions.

Beyond academics, I’ve embraced leadership opportunities within Sigma Kappa, where I’ve honed skills in team management, communication, and event coordination. These experiences have taught me the value of collaboration, adaptability, and creating meaningful connections.

I also contribute to the campus community as a General Chemistry Stockroom Assistant, ensuring smooth operations and developing organizational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
