I am currently an undergraduate student at Lenoir-Rhyne University, a small, private institution in Hickory, NC. I am majoring in medical studies for my bachelor degree and plan to get my masters in physician assistant studies. I was introduced to the world of health care as a junior in high school by taking health science classes. After taking my first health science class, I knew that I belonged in the medical field. I continued to take health science related classes and became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
