About
Hello!
My name is Hauni and I am attending Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) online. I am currently residing in the North East region of the U.S. with my beloved dog, Charlie, and my roommate, Neel. I am a full-time paramedic and between the months of March and November, I am a certified MSF Rider Coach meaning I teach people how to ride motorcycles. Both occupations provide me with an immense amount of satisfaction and fulfillment because not only do I get to help people in a time of need but I also have the opportunity to see improvements and growth in the people I work with. I selflessly give myself to my community, my places of employment, my patients, and my students by staying in service. There is nothing more rewarding for me at this point than receiving a 'thank you' and knowing that I made a difference in someone's life.
Asides from the love I have for my work, I am extremely optimistic. I always find some good in every situation: it's not always good for everyone but every situation does benefit at least one person, place, or thing. I constantly smile, am happy, and in a good mood. Lastly, I enjoy collectively working with people to instill new ideas and visions in them that not makes them grow but also helps us, as a group, get to the end goal.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I haven't fully decided what I will do when I graduate. I would love to work from home and travel the world eventually, however, I thoroughly enjoy my career as a paramedic. So honestly, I don't know if I'm going to drop down to a part-time or per-diem position as a paramedic or work in web development and design part-time, but what I do know I that I will reach my goal of working from home and traveling the world.
- Graduate school interests
I have not started thinking about grad school yet. Once I complete my Bachelor's I will likely take a couple years off to focus on my new career and work on paying off my student loans. Once I have taken the break and have determined what direction I want my life to go, I will determine what Grad School I will attend as well as what I will be studying.
- Outside the classroom
My two current and primary hobbies are yoga and meditation. I also frequently find myself searching for and implementing changes in my lifestyle to become healthier and more natural. I love spending time with my dog, camping, hiking, and traveling. I believe that spending time outdoors opens our hearts and souls to the workings of Mother Nature which ultimately brings peace, love, and acceptance into our lives, and, without that, I think that there would be a lot of chaos wrecking havoc on us. So with that being the basis of my beliefs, most of my hobbies revolve around tranquil activities that allow for me to ground my thoughts and connect with Mother Nature. That being said, I do love riding my motorcycle, trying new restaurants and food, go on other random adventures, and spend time with good company.
