About
To whom it may concern, I am Hayle R. Shipley. I am a vibrant and motivated young woman following a stringent and fulfilling school path at Stephan F. Austin State University as a double major, first in Psychology and secondly in Criminal Justice. I enjoy the challenge that being a double major entails and now that I have a year of it under my belt in my Junior/Senior year, I now feel confident in my studies enough to involve myself more in the amazing extracurricular activities offered at my university. I definitely hope to join a few organizations and even aspire to obtain an officer position. I have held many officer positions in the past and have excelled greatly at almost anything I set my mind on.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I will one day be a forensic psychologist. I want to specialize in assisting within the criminal justice field and to be a specialist for police stations as well as in court cases.
- Graduate school interests
I haven't quite decided what all I would like to do in this section, but I am looking into different avenues of possibilities.
- Outside the classroom
I greatly enjoy bowling and have been active in it for the majority of my life. My entire family is involved in the sport so its a great activity that we can all participate in together! At my previous college I was a top member of our varsity girls team and had a blast traveling for tournaments with my fellow teammates and coaches.
I am also a member of an absolutely phenomenal organization called SkillsUSA that I am extremely passionate about. I was a member throughout my entire high school career; the program was essentially in tandem with the Law Magnet program, we were a very strong and large chapter. I held a multitude of officer positions, beginning my freshman year, and placed very well in many competitions in those four years as well. I am also proud to say that I was the only student who took every class available under both the criminal justice and pre-law sides of the program and went to absolutely every conference available. Since graduating I have become an alumni member for the state of Texas and have helped teach new members, judged competitions, and aided with different conferences.
