About
I'm an LA native, born and raised and will never discredit the blessings I've gained because of this. In high school I was one of 6 that earned an International Baccalaureate Diploma. Meanwhile I worked at a local toy store, was very active in March to the Top (a non-profit founded by members of my church and community) and played competitive volleyball. Achieving several scholarships from the University of Oklahoma as well as an opportunity to play on the volleyball team, I attended OU for one year before transferring into University of San Francisco to experience a more diverse environment w a Christian education. I truly work every day to better myself as a student, a person of faith, an athlete and a global citizen with the ability to make a difference.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I've always had a passion for volunteering and contributing to the global community. I've been blessed in my own life and I believe everyone should receive the same opportunities I have. I hope to join the Peace Corps after I complete undergrad as a D1 volleyball player. After gaining that experience and opening myself to new cultures and world issues, I intend on practicing Human Rights or International Law so that I can make the difference that needs to be made through what my experience.
- Graduate school interests
I aim to practice International or Human rights Law at a top Law school in an area that allows me to see and experience diversity as well. Being from California, graduating from Berkeley is a dream. However because of my focus, working and studying at Georgetown in DC has grown to be another aspiration of mine.
- Outside the classroom
Throughout my life I've found sports to be incredibly therapeutic and helpful for maintaining balance and happiness from the stress of school and work. I play division 1 volleyball, after playing one year at University of Oklahoma I transferred to University of San Francisco for a better International program and the quality of education.
That being said, volleyball is a huge "hobby" but I love yoga as well and practice that for my own enjoyment. I love to write and I've played guitar since I was young.
Dorky as it is, I love watching and reading about African history and conflict and tend to take more notes with more detail from these than I do in classes.
