Goals and interests
- Career goal
psychiatrist due to a moment in my neuroscience class that changed everything for me. My teacher invited a guest speaker diagnosed with Cerebellar Degeneration to talk to our class about his condition; listening to his story of misdiagnosis and recovery opened my eyes to the impact health professionals can have. Though we only had 30 minutes to talk, I was fascinated by his story, and through interviewing, I truly got to understand and empathize with his experience and how he didn't let his condition shape him. That experience helped me realize I want to be part of this field—to understand people's conditions, support their recovery, and keep learning.
