About

I've gained expertise in customer service, management, and business operations. After owning a small business for a decade, I made the decision to sell it in order to pursue my education and become an addictions counselor. For years, I've dedicated myself to serving as a CASA, a role that holds a deep place in my heart. My passion extends beyond advocacy to a sincere commitment to supporting both mothers and their children as they navigate the path to recovery from substance use disorders.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My career path aims to establish a haven for women in recovery as the director of a transitional home. Located in the serene landscape of NE Indiana, I aspire to cultivate a peaceful atmosphere infused with tranquility and relaxation. Central to my program's ethos are principles of love, nutrition, life skills, balance, and healing, forming the bedrock of support for these women on their journey to recovery.

Graduate school interests

Masters in Psychology

Outside the classroom

My hobbies revolve around the great outdoors and staying active. I find joy in kayaking and paddle boarding along serene waters, exploring nature's wonders on hiking trails, and feeling the rush of adrenaline while snow skiing and snowboarding in winter. When the weather warms, I love the freedom of cycling through scenic routes, always seeking new adventures and experiences in nature.
