Heather Gibson

I am currently enrolled at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and am entering my last semester before graduation. I am pursuing a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration on EC-6. I grew up in small town named Blessing, Texas and graduated in a class of only 53 students. I participated in FFA (Future Farmers of America) and often volunteered for activities such as Adopt-A-Highway. I also served on the Student Council and was nominated as Class President during my junior and senior year of high school. I was also nominated into the National Honor Society in my junior year and took the role of Vice President of the NHS during my senior year. I graduated 8th in my class. During my time as a college student, first at Del Mar and secondly at A&M, I have maintained a job as a Kids Club Caregiver at the Corpus Christi Athletic Club. This job ultimately led to my career path in education. I adore taking care of children and I am fascinated by the growth and development of the young. I have a strong passion to teach children and make a difference in the world of education.
