About

I am changing careers after college and am pursuing an associate's degree from Anne Arundel Community College in film studies. I have a Bachelor's degree from Goucher College in creative writing and a minor in theatre. After having difficulty finding work in theatre, I decided to go back to school to expand my repertoire and gain experience in film studies and audio production. I currently have an internship at Bowie Community Media Corporation where I help out in the studio on public access shows and assist the city when events are filmed live. I am learning everything from audio production to film theory, preproduction and production and how to put a shoot for a film together.

I am in the process of setting up my own film company, Four Eleven Productions. The company is called Four Eleven Productions for two reasons: I am 4'11 (and a half), and 411 is the number you dial to get information. I am interested in making socially relevant documentaries, fictional films, and shooting commercials and promotional materials for companies that make an effort to lessen their carbon footprint, help third world countries, or fight for women's rights.

I have begun research and preproduction for a documentary series as well as a documentary short and a short fictional film.
