About
My name is Heloisa Mendes, and I am a student at Illinois State University. I am from Brazil, so my native language is Portuguese, and I also speak Spanish. I used to want to be an elementary education teacher, since I enjoy working with kids. When that idea sort of faded away, I wanted to major in International Business and put my languages to good use; however, I decided that if I was going to be in the business field, the major that fit me best would be Human Resources. I am currently working on my business bachelors degree at ISU to become a Human Resource Manager.

- Career goal
I intend to work as a Human Resource Manager for a company; none in particular thus far. I hope to talk to a couple professionals and get a better idea of what kind of organization would interest me the most to work at in the near future. Something that I like to keep in mind is that I would love to be able to use the languages I know to my benefit in my career.

I like to play volleyball, travel and go to new places, and I currently realized that I enjoy cooking very much as well.
