About

I have never been to college before I started at IWU in 2015. I graduated high school in 1993. I have been a barber for 15 years and it has become a great career. I began volunteering in student ministry in 2005 and found a love for ministry and helping those with substance abuse. Having dealt with that myself and being in recovery for the last 15 years, I believe that my education in ministry and experience in recovery can help many others to the right path. I pray that God continues to use me to help others. This education will be an asset in that mission.
I am currently an active member of St. Peter Parish in Lexington, KY and am a lector there.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I intend to get a masters degree in Divinity and become a pastoral counselor.

Graduate school interests

I am looking forward to completing a Masters in Divinity so that I can have a wealth of opportunities open to me for ministry. I am interested in Preaching, helping others, and to further my career with a certification for Pastoral Counseling. I look forward to internship opportunities to explore Ministry and see what is available for me.

Outside the classroom

My greatest hobby is being active in the recovery community here in Lexington. I spend three days a week helping with meetings and currently mentor 6 ladies.
