About
I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Texas Woman’s University after building a career of more than 14 years as a Certified Athletic Trainer. My clinical background includes collegiate athletics, outpatient orthopedics, pediatric sports medicine, the U.S. Army, and elite sport. My goal is to combine my experience in athletic training with my DPT education to become an orthopedic and sports medicine physical therapist.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My goal is to become an orthopedic and sports medicine physical therapist. I hope to combine my extensive experience in athletic training with my DPT education to provide high-quality care to athletes and active individuals throughout rehabilitation and return to sport.
- Graduate school interests
Orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation, athletic performance, injury prevention, movement analysis, manual therapy, and return-to-sport rehabilitation. I am particularly interested in integrating my experience as an athletic trainer with physical therapy to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy practicing yoga and Pilates, exploring coffee shops, and reading in my free time.
