Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended job path is to partner with a low-income school district. Students in low-income communities often face additional challenges, I want to be part of a team that works to close educational gaps and provide meaningful support. By combining my MAT in Special Education, ESOL endorsement, and classroom experience, I hope to make a positive and lasting impact on students and contribute to a more equitable education system.

Graduate school interests

I am pursuing an MAT in Special Education to gain the skills needed to support diverse learners through inclusive practices, IEPs, and evidence-based strategies. I also plan to add an ESOL endorsement to better support English language learners and create culturally responsive, inclusive learning environments.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy reading, volunteering at my local food bank, and training for a summer 5K run. These hobbies reflect my love of learning, commitment to giving back to my community, and dedication to staying active and setting personal goals.
