Hosanna Johns

Hello, my name is Hosanna Johns and I intend to be an Air Traffic Controller one day. I understand that the job acceptance rate is very low right now... But I am a very competitive girl as well. I also know it's possible to land the job because two people I know worked hard to get one and they did. With that said, I'm doing everything I can right now, being a Junior in high school, to polish up my resume. I am currently a C/SMSgt, Public Relations Officer, and Flight Sergeant at Gregg County Composite Squadron (Civil Air Patrol), I have 30 recorded volunteer hours in disaster relief with the Red Cross due to this year's spring Tornadoes, and have worked as a volunteer guarding the fence line for the East Texas Balloon Race every year for the past three years, three days in a row. I have also been apart of 2 FTXs, 3 Bivouacs, 1 Basic Encampment, and 1 Model Rocketry Bivouac. Also, I have flown a Cessna 172 twice with an instructor. As you can see, all of these are good things, but I'd like to expand my horizons by adding on some scholarships to my belt. With that said, thank you for your time.
