Good Day, my name is Hunter Heimstead, and I am currently a student at UW-Stout. Before applying here at UW-Stout, I obtained two associate degrees at Chippewa Valley Technical College. After achieving both degrees, I worked for nearly three years at Ashley Furniture Industries, gaining proper working, leadership, and programming experience.

- Career goal
After I achieve my bachelor's degree, I plan to reenter the workforce as a cybersecurity worker with a plan to work on either the networking or programming side of cybersecurity.
- Outside the classroom
Outside school, I fish, hunt, hike, play video games, watch movies, write, take long walks, and hang out with my friends.
