About

I am a full time student at the University of Houston in the field of Creative Writing and Film working part time at a trustees office for the past 5 years. I graduated from Houston Community College with an Associates Degree in Arts in 2016. Right now I am creating a fantasy novel series that I have been working on for almost a year. I am currently learning Japanese and relearning Dutch from my family. Dutch is my first language but when I came to the states at 8 years old, learning English was a priority. After learning Japanese I plan to learn Korean and Spanish. I have been part of the IFBB (International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness) community since I was two years old because my mother is an International Judge. Recently, I became an International Judge as well. Because my mother has been part of the federation for most of my life, I have been traveling with her to multiple countries, learning about their culture, and meeting interesting people. Even though I am shy I have learned to communicate well with others. Going from country to country I have learned to embrace and respect the ideals of multiple cultures which is important when connecting with people from different backgrounds.

Career goal

I want to do screenplay writing in the film industry and publish children's books and fantasy novels. My true dream is to become a full time artist and craftsman. I have enjoyed creating things with my hands every since I could draw.

Graduate school interests

After getting my bachelors I intend to join the JET program to become a teaching assistant in English for students in Japan. Then I plan to continue my education and get my Masters in Creative Writing. I really hope that in graduate school I will reach my full potential as a writer.
