Goals and interests

Career goal

From the precise execution of marching band formations to the disciplined ranks of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP), my life has been a testament to the power of dedication and the pursuit of excellence. These achievements, while diverse, share a common thread—they each signify milestones on my journey towards a lifelong goal: to become a professional pilot, an ambassador of the skies who champions inclusivity and innovation within the aviation industry.

As a Drum Major, the pinnacle of leadership in the band's structure, I mastered the art of harmonizing individual talents into collective success. This experience mirrors the coordination necessary in a cockpit, where a pilot must synthesize disparate information into seamless navigation. My musical journey honed my precision, attention to detail, and ability to remain composed under pressure—skills directly transferable to piloting.

My CAP experiences underscored my commitment to service and excellence. Rising through the ranks, earning recognition, and embracing the CAP's values of integrity and volunteerism cultivated a strong sense of responsibility—a crucial attribute for any aspiring pilot. These accolades weren't merely symbols of accomplishment but affirmations of my potential to lead, adapt, and excel in challenging environments.

Furthermore, the FAA drone certification and UAS Certificate are not just lines on a resume; they represent my hands-on approach and understanding of aviation regulations. They signal my readiness to embrace the technical and ethical complexities of the aerospace field.

Collectively, these achievements form the foundation of my life's ambition. They are the rungs of a ladder leading to a career where I can merge my passion for flight with a commitment to making the aviation industry more accessible to underrepresented communities, including those with disabilities like my brother, Aiden. This scholarship would be more than financial aid; it would be a catalyst, propelling me further along a path I have paved with perseverance, leadership, and a vision that soars beyond the horizon.
