About

In my family, I had the opportunity to grow up in an environment surrounded by art and science. Many of these influences got me immediately interested in construction and design. After persistently building legos models and filling dozens of sketch books as a child with top views of golf courses, and elevations of buildings I had a fair guess that architecture/construction would be in my future. Into high school I immersed myself in drafting and 3D programs which payed off very well in winning a large design competition as well as providing my first internship. My passions made it possible for me to reach the School of Architecture at the University of Southern California, where I am eager to see the rest of my future unfold.

Goals and interests

Career goal

As much as I solely love design, I would like to study all fields of construction to keep my future paths open and to give myself an advantage at whatever I job I choose to take. My goal is to become a licensed architect and general contractor and see where that takes me.

Graduate school interests

I am considering graduate school in Civil Engineering to broaden my knowledge of the construction industry. However, my student debt coming out of my undergraduate studies will probably be the controlling factor of my decision.

Outside the classroom

Along with Architecture I have a passion for music, I play many instruments but tend to focus to playing jazz piano. In addition I have been a member of the Santa Clara Vanguard in 2012 and 2013, and have toured the entire country with them performing in stadiums like the Alamo Dome, Mile High Stadium, Lucas Oil Pavilion, Hollywood Bowl, and many more. We were also awarded 5th (2012) and then 4th (2013) place at DCI World Championships.
In addition to music I love sports. My favorite sports are running, golfing, volleyball, frisbee, and skiing, but basically any physical activity will interest me.
