Goals and interests

Career goal

To counsel people who have experienced trauma and PTSD symptoms variance of PTSD. I would like to become a clinical psychologist or counseling psychologist and help others to relieve their suffering through CBT, DBT, and other therapies that actively work to relieve and overcome the symptoms from mental health conditions like PTSD.

Graduate school interests

My interests are in clinical mental health. I would like to focus on people who have experienced trauma and PTSD symptoms. This is very important and personal to me as I have seen what trauma can do to a person and what it takes to overcome it.

Outside the classroom

I am a huge film guy and really lose myself in the stories. I feel them deeply and have always fallen in love with film. I also enjoy photography and the editing process. Going out into nature to Fish and hike is where I find peace. I love Tenkara fishing which is a Japanese style like fly fishing. Learning about science, physics, philosophy, and psychology has always been important to me. I watch and read everything I get my hand on from those subjects and more as I am really into consciousness and what is reality. What is the subjective experience we wake up to everyday and what is it made of. That sort of thing. I have been know to pay some video games from time to time as I grew up during the tech boom. I enjoy survival crafting games with lots of exploration and a good story like Ark, Stalker 2, Indian Jones, and even Grounded or Smalland.
